Fitting Guide

Soles

Our red soles are bespokely cut to fit any size Christain Louboutin shoe, so one size fits all.  For a professional fitting service we would recommend using our Total Repair service or buying our replacement red soles and visiting your local trusted cobbler.

If you would prefer to fit them yourself we would suggest you follow the following process:

Step 1:
This is where it hurts... you are going to have to clean the sole removing all dirt, then take a biro and draw a line on the sole precisely where the sole tops meeting the floor just before the arch of the sole.  Once you have your marker take a medium course piece of sand papaer and.... yes scrape that red sole off to provide a rough surface for the new sole to stick to (don't go crazy, just rough it up a little).  Remove excess dust and wipe clean.

Step 2:
Place the sole of your shoe on the new replacement red rubber sole and carefully draw round the outline of your sole, making sure you keep your sole in one position and on a flat surface at all times.  When the pen reaches the point it can just begin to tuck under the raised sole ares, stop.  Do the same to the other side and again, stop.  Remove the shoe and join up the points where the biro stopped with a ruler.  You now have your new sole outline.

Step 3:
Take either a sharp pair of scissors or a stanley knife and cut to the inside of this line.

Step 4:
With the sole logo facing down, apply the sole glue to the pain side of the red sole, allow to air for 30 seconds, then firmly press your shoe to the new sole.  Turn the shoe upside down and ensure the whole sole is covered with the new red rubber sole.  If there is a small amount poking out don't worry this can be trimmed off once the glue is set.

Step 5:
Stand you shoe upright and leave you shoe with a small weight inside pushing down against the new sole or wear them and stand still for 5 - 10 minutes being careful not to twist moving the sole.

Step 6:
Once set, take a sharpe stanley knife and trim any excess sole off being careful of both your shoes and your fingers!

Step 7:
Repeat all steps for the other sole, yes do them one at a time if you have not done this before.

Protective Sole Strips

Step 1:
Place Shoe on top of protective sole strip, draw around the rim of the shoe.

Step 2:
Cut the marked area to size - ensure that edges do not exceed the sole size, otherwise the edge may curl up over time.

Step 3:
Peel off the sticky tape (we recommend using a needle to seperate the film).

Step 4:
Stick protective strip to the sole of the shoe, taking care to smooth out any bubbles.

Step 5:
Press down firmly and leave to set for 15 minutes before wearing.
